Python Job: Part Time Lecturer

Established in 2020, the UCD Professional Academy is an ambitious project which seeks to make a significant contribution to promoting skills-based training to the workforce, while upholding UCD values by embedding quality, integrity and accountability into every aspect of its activity.

Drawing on the industry knowledge and training experience provided by our team of instructors, the Professional Academy enables learners to enhance their career prospects by gaining practical, cutting-edge skills in their chosen field, and add a valuable badge of achievement to their résumé.

With strong prospects for growth, the UCD Professional Academy is looking to expand its team of Lecturers across its portfolio of courses with an expected start dates in July or later. If you are a well-qualified and experienced trainer in any of the listed courses below, we would love to hear from you. Experience of working with and mentoring other trainers in an educational training context is an advantage.

This is a part-time, hourly-paid role. Courses are part-time and are designed to be manageable alongside other work or study commitments, with in-person sessions and online lectures generally scheduled in the evenings. Applicants must be available to lecture online for these topics.

Skills and Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years’ professional experience in relevant field of expertise which may include full-time experience as an instructor in a recognized training institution
• Substantial and demonstratable experience(minimum 2 years) in delivering relevant professional training at a comparable institution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to excellence in academic delivery and customer service.
